职位描述:
1.) 3rd party Transportation Selection, Management, and Measurement against performance based contracts.
2.) Ensure compliance to safety, and regulatory requirements for all company owned and 3rd party transportation providers
3.) Oversee Roadnet dispatchers and territory planning functions and ensure cost effective achievable routes are developed, equipment utilization is maximized and customer satisfaction and delivery productivity is efficient and effective.
4.) Develop and standardize specifications for 3rd party and company owned equipment in conjunction with market execution imperatives, procurement, safety and head office logistics leadership that maximize legal load limits and pallet loading and unloading
5.) Meet truck capacity requirements at each OU while maintaining customer service cost effectively
6.) Develop fleet maintenance program and ensure compliance for all company vehicles and material handling equipment
7.) Develop 5 year replacement strategy for company owned vehicles and lease vs.Buy options in conjunction with procurement.
