职位描述:
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB:
l The supply planner needs to balance supply to demand in the aggregate (product family) over the 18 mth planning horizon.
l In addition, the supply planning process assures that business objectives for cost & inventory are met.
l The supply planner needs to drive improvements to the supply chain such as lead time & lot size reduction. Any imbalances or gaps are resolved pro-actively to avoid impacts to customer service & business objectives.
l The supply planner process the order and follow up the shipment
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
l Translate Sales Forecast into Supply Plan to ensure proper amount of inventory is available to meet customer demand
l Provide follow-up and recovery plans for out of stock, low stock and excess items
l To balance flexibility & stability of operations
l To chair and lead the monthly supply review meeting
l Routinely perform root cause analysis to drive supply quality improvements
l Develop, track and implement supply quality improvement plans
l Act as the Demand Solutions (DS) super-user for replenishment planning management: business and IT liaison
l Routinely maintain Demand Solutions’ system RP data
l Lead or support additional analysis as needed
l Gather and report necessary Key Performance Indicators (KPI) metrics
l Assist management in developing a more robust & efficient supply chain process
l Order Process & Follow up
QUALIFICATIONS:
l Strong background in Supply Chain
l Excellent analytical skills
l Strong problem solving skills
l Results driven with emphasis on keeping customer and business commitments
l Extremely high initiative
l Effective communication skills, including verbal and presentation skills
l Ability to work across organizational boundaries and levels; team-oriented
