Key Responsibility
Define, document and maintain the technical delivery method ensuring standardisation of all activities involved in the delivery of IT projects.
For assigned projects, ensure a product architect oversees and reviews any design activities delegated to the project team
For assigned projects, ensure all application construction or modification work associated with an assigned project is undertaken in compliance with environmental specifications provided by Systems environment management personnel.
For assigned projects, oversee construction of all functional project artefacts in accordance with Systems development methodology, technical delivery method and quality gates.
For assigned projects, ensure all project artefacts are constructed, compiled, packaged and documented in accordance with Systems policies
Maintain knowledge of all Systems enterprise architecture developments and governance activities that impact technical delivery practices.
Participate as an optional member of the Architecture Review Board supporting and advising other members of the enterprise architecture.
Support and mentor delivery engineers who are interested in advancing to a solution architect role.
Undertake training and certification activities to maintain and document skills and safeguard ability to contribute to Systems objectives.
Essential skills
Must have at least 8 years of prior relative experience.
Technical skills
Experience of working in IT systems development as a technical project leader.
B.E. / MCA / MCM
Proficiency in waterfall and agile development methodologies and project management techniques
Proficiency in .NET / Java technology frameworks as demonstrated by achieving certification as a qualified engineer.
Familiarity with data engineering and modelling techniques
Familiarity with either Microsoft enterprise library.
Familiarity with UNIX and/or Microsoft Windows system operations techniques.
Soft Skills
Delivery and results focused.
Well presented with good communication skills.
Able to prioritise own activities, work under pressure.
Team player.
Business English is required.
