Purchasing Manager(Guangdong)About our client:A world class leading EMS/ODM/OBM global provider is seeking a purchasing manager. Responsibilities:l Responsible for directing and managing the purchase of raw materials and OEM products. Sources products and negotiates pricing and terms in accordance with Company standards. l Sources vendors for products and raw materials. l Negotiates with vendors for good and services,negotiating the best possible price and service guarantee. l Adheres to purchasing policies and ensure compliance. l Develops new supply sources where vendors are inadequate. l Works with Credit/Accounting to establish account/credit and terms. l Negotiates blanket purchase orders when appropriate and monitors cost during the time period. l Works closely with R&D,Production and other departments to ensure proper supplies arrived and traces delinquent arrivals from Purchase Orders. l Leads,manages,trains,guides,and supports members of the Purchasing team. l Complies with safety and corporate guidelines on business ethics. l Works with overseas Purchasing group on timing of finished goods. l May travel to suppliers as required. l Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested. Requirements:l An expatriate living in Southeast Asian is preferred. l An experienced leader with appropriate Electronics Manufacturing industry experience. l Minimum of ten years‘generalist in supply chain management experience. l Proficient in project management and supply chain management. l Demonstrated ability to lead,manage,and mentor a team. l Product management experience within the Electronics Manufacturing industry. l An excellent negotiator who is experienced in contracts. l A decisive individual who possesses a“big picture”perspective and is well versed in systems. l Bachelor’s Degree in a related business discipline. l Demonstrated and sound understanding of financial principles and how decisions impact the firm‘s profitability. l Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. l Excellent project and program management skills. l Strong computer skills specifically Excel,project management software,Microsoft Office suite.
