Purpose / Rolel Ensure procurement of corporate meet our safety, health and environmental management obligations and objectivesl Setting up Global Sourcing Centrel Setting the corporate procurement strategy, agreeing the strategies of the corporate operation and ensuring appropriate resources are made available and allocated to support these strategies.l Establish and maintenance the procurement procedures. Key aims and objectivesl Balance the manpower to meet the corporate development.l Team development & improvementl Strategic sourcing and Supplier development, integration and performance managementl Strategic control the project procurement to ensure that function service delivery to the project meet the highest professional and are in line with recognised best practicePrime responsibilities and dutiesl The strategy and tasks assigned by corporate operation and GR supply chain l Establish and develop an aggressive procurement team vision, formulate an optimal operational for office and the projects, build an effective function infrastructure in corporate of China.l CONVERO operation of Procurement & Material Management l Vendor Database maintenance. l Vendor pre-qualification/sourcingl Vendor quality control l Vendor performance analysis l Organize and review the procurement proposals and execution summary. l Initial the projects procurement teaml Review or approve the project procurement key document.l Review function team PDRl Develop, review, and approve new or improved the function procedures and clerical procedures to maintain operation.l Cooperate and assist other functions when required.l Support group global office to lower cost for using China material.l Develop lines of communication with Amec Business Internationally regarding Procurement executionAllied occasional dutiesl BD activities supportl Project Lead l Project procurement leadKey internal interfacesl Corporate departments of BD, engineering, construction, controls, finance, HR and commercial.l ProjectsKey external interfacesl Clientl Vendorsl Agenciesl Global sister officesCore competenciesl Honest, Integrityl Team establish capacity and develop skilll Cost sensitive and good negotiation skilll Professional in procurement knowledge and experience.l Business mindsl At least bachelor degree in engineering or equivalentl At least 12 years experience in procurement, experience covering purchasing, expediting, logistics, and material managementl at least 5 years of equivalent experience as department manager in international / multi-national company;l at least 5 years experience for sourcing from China and export to overseas
