We are an American, small-sized, high energy and rapidly growing electronics company in the Futian (HuaQiangBei) area. We are a young team and work in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
We are looking for a: Purchasing Assistant. This person’s main role will be to:
1. Communicate with factories and suppliers, get pricing, arrange orders, get samples, work on new electronic items design projects (MP3 players, MP4 players, mobile phones, etc. )
2. Communicating with and attending suppliers in the Hua Qiang Bei electronics market to pick up merchandise, test it, and ship it to our clients overseas
3. Perform quality control inspections on the goods we buy and sell
This person must have the following qualities:
1. We would like someone with at least 1-2 years of experience in either quality control, or consumer electronics (MP3, MP4, mobile phones, computer accessories), product engineering, or otherwise working with factories.
2. Ability to use the computer well including Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet. Higher level ability with computers is a plus.
3. Experience in a trading company and/or working with factories is an advantage4. Must understand English5. Must be HIGHLY organized with excellent attention to detail4000 - 5000 RMB starting salary (depends on experience)If you are an exceptional person and can do an excellent job in this position you will have the opportunity to be promoted to a management position within 1 – 2 years.
