Main job responsibilities:
-Lead the Global Supplier Quality strategy in his (her) technical area, in coordination with the Sourcing team and in accordance with the company’s Quality requirements and procedures aiming at reaching the "Best in Class" level, and share best practices with other SQA teams.
-SDM management
>Manage the qualification process of the suppliers in his (her) area of responsibility.
>Set Suppliers Quality Commitments in accordance with company’s SQA objectives in terms of Quality and sustainable development
>Ensure that the SQA drive the implementation of the Suppliers Quality Plan and sourcing quality milestones
>Prepare platform gate reviews
>Organize regular Quality reviews with the suppliers of the panel in his (her) area of responsibility and secure the identification of the root causes behind the most critical issues
-SQA Serial Performances
>Monitor the execution of projects and the approval of the milestones to secure parts availability for first article Inspection (FAI)
>Set-Up relevant actions plan to reach Suppliers NCR & Ppm Unit target
>Ensure the development of relevant corrective and preventive action plan by our suppliers
>Audit supplier processes to check the effectiveness of the corrective and preventive action plan
>Build product action plan for main typologies of NCR
>Report and document Costs of Non Quality
-Audit
>Ensure that the classification, process and follow-up audits as well as applicable qualification procedures are executed
>Support Group audit program development (Process audit, Classification audit, New Supplier evaluation)
-Management & Reporting
>Manage and Motivate the team members under his (her) hierarchical responsibility
>Recruit and Develop SDMs and SQAs
>Secure the ethical behavior of the team under his (her) responsibility. Act as a role model
>Ensure that the members of his (her) team operate in an hazard free environment
>Implement the company’s policies in term of social responsibility and sustainable development
>Take part in the Steering Committees, network meetings, budget process, targets & assessments, ...
>Make sure the Sourcing Quality procedures are applied, and amend them if necessary
>Support and lead transverse initiatives (trainings…)
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing or Quality content
-At least 3 years design, quality or sourcing experience in locomotive industry
-Have sound knowledge in metallic transformation as: SMW, extrusion, welding, forging, casting and machining processes and NDT
-Quality auditor and quality tools experienced: FMEA, Capability, SPC, Poka-Yoke, Design of Experience, Problem solving method, Product Quality Assurance
-Good spoken and written English and Mandarin
-Strong leadership and management competencies to deploy the rules, tasks in the network and to organize staffing; Strong teamwork in a complex organization
