MAIN ACTIVITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
-Analyze customer product requirements through market research and marketing analysis and translate it into new product designs;
-Work with suppliers to obtain and evaluate product prototypes and modify designs based on design verification and customer feedback
-Conduct competitive analysis of similar products from other manufacturers to identify strengths and weaknesses in design,usability and competitiveness.
-Make the product specification and testing regulation according to relative standard for product verification and validation;-Provide engineering support to internal departments,vendors improvement and customer trouble shooting;
-Build and strengthen full range glove products application and popularization in customer sides with marketing&sales;
-Participate in SBU project and take responsibility accordingly;-Provides cost analysis on new and improved products in order to assess relevance and relative priority.
-Maintains active,frequent liaison with worldwide SBU and Asia-Pacific marketing regarding new product requirements and projects.-Take the indispensable role in project management;
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
-3+years experience in R&D or process engineering;
-Experience in protective garments,glove is a must:
-Excellent knowledge of macromolecular material such as fibers,textile and glue;
-Good understanding of NPI process and project management;
EDUCATION/SKILLSET REQUIRED
-Bachelor degree or above in chemical,macromolecular material engineering or equivalent;
-Rick knowledge of material selection&application;
-Proficient with MS(Word,Excel,PP)and CAD skill is a plus.
-Good oral and written in English;-Quick learner.
