Position: Purchasing/Sourcing Assistant


Requirements:

1.Academic:
-University degree in any of the following disciplines:
¨International business/Trading,
¨Micro-Economics/Mathematics
¨Industrial Product Design, or similar
¨Electronic/Mechanical Engineering

2.Skills:
-Must be proficient in both oral and written English; minimum requirement: CET-6 or equivalent
-A second foreign language, e.g. German, will be a plus
-Advanced skills required in MS Office, especially with Excel & PowerPoint, able to carry out analysis and effective presentation via such tools
-able to carry out investigative research via internet

3.Work Experiences:
-At least 2 years consistent work experience in related fields, especially purchase/sourcing for export products. Practical experience, knowledge and understanding in investigative sourcing, product development/design and production/supplier control will definitely be beneficial


4.Main Responsibilities:
-To support sourcing project management in all areas:
¨research products based on inadequate info; carry out, with minimum guidance, investigation and formulate accurate and practical product understanding within strictly limited time frame
¨assist in locating, analyzing and auditing potential suppliers via all means;
¨assist in organizing and presenting information on available products and options, able to screen out misleading or unverified assumptions
¨formulate calculations for products cost breakdown
¨complete export processing work
¨maintain data bank of information on products, suppliers and others
