1.0 KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
3.1 Education
-Above bachelor degree in Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent degrees
3.2 Knowledge/Skills
-Excellent negotiating skills and commercial experience.-Experience in working in a multinational company and familiar with the manufacturing processes in the factories.-Market focus and strategic thinking-Fluent in English both verbally and in writing.-Strong Business focus-Entrepreneurship and Leadership-Excellent in communication and networking-Good in managing cross functional teams-Good understanding of macroeconomic/financial data and consequences-Frequent travel
3.3 Specific Experience
-Minimum 3 years management experience in purchasing/sourcing.
2.0 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES(Include but not limited)
-Excellent negotiating skills and commercial experience.-Result responsibility for purchasing of materials,components and services.-Develop and implement a purchasing and sourcing strategy following BU and group purchasing policies globally and within the region to achieve cost,quality and service objectives.-Manage purchase activities and supplier performance effectively to improve service level and cost efficiency.-Lead and perform supplier evaluation and assessment in the supplier selection process according to SKF group processes and criteria.-Manage and further strengthen supplier base and critical contract setting.-Perform supplier market analyses,evaluation and benchmarking.-Manage cost down initiatives to ensure an effective and lean demand chain.-Contribute to the development of product specifications to ensure the right supplier base and costs.-Identify opportunities and makes thorough preparation to ensure an effective negotiation.-Understand the group/company‘s requirements and cost/profitability structure,and explores a range of possibilities for resolving a problem or issue.
