职位描述:

This role is responsible for supporting the organization through major supplier sourcing efforts.The goal is to help win new business by negotiating prices and terms that meet or exceed targets.Following the negotiations,the Specialist Lead Subcontracts assures supplier performance consistent with the management operating system across all program needs.
The general responsibilities include:working with cross functional teams to determine Make/Buy;participate in the selection of suppliers;aid in the negotiation and managing of subcontracts;assist in the management of supplier performance on a number of key or major programs or lead the management of supplier performance on a number of medium or minor programs.The candidate will work across numerous functions to ensure that we meet the requirements of the customers.The primary objective is to assure a robust supply chain is in place to meet the performance,technical,schedule,cost and quality goals on all assigned programs to meet the specific needs and its customers.
Support new business activities in the three market segments by negotiating favorable supplier terms to assure that we can win new business.This activity would include working on new business opportunities with the New Business Team and supporting the cost goals to aid in the creation of customer proposals.>Work with the SBU,M&PM,AME,Engineering or other pursuit members to assure suppliers meet or exceed cost goal requirements through effective negotiations.
Aid in the supplier selection process and program team reviews.Participate in triage strategy reviews which lead to Make vs.Buy decisions.>

Help drive successful performance of the suppliers through a common Management Operating System to meet the goals of cost,schedule,contract execution,production readiness,technical and quality requirements.
Work with suppliers to insure a smooth transition to production that is free of major problems.Manage suppliers to meet productivity,inventory,net terms and overall working capital goals.

Requirements:Minimum BS Degree(technical or business)and 3+years experience negotiating contracts and program management of development activity.Experience in leading cross functional teams and program managing supplier performance.Proven negotiation,oral and written communication skills.Ability to influence across and up and down the organization chain.Integrative thinker able to balance the business needs across a complex matrix environment Results focused;self motivated;capable of working independently with minimum direction.Creates collaborative,cross functional alignment while driving timely decision making Greenbelt certification,PMP and/or CPM certification a plus
