Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Business or C. P. M. Preferred.
5+ years experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management field
Competence with Microsoft Office software required
Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and project management skills required
Demonstrated negotiation skills
Demonstrated strong leadership skills and subordinate development skills
High standards of integrity required
Great follow-up skills
Understand Purchasing law
High energy level and strong self-motivation required
Responsibility:
Daily lead and manage tactical buyer team and MRO buyer team to meet internal and external customer need
Organize and develop a Current Tactical Purchasing staff that is committed to meeting or exceeding organizational goals, continuous improvement and developing a Purchasing Department that practices "World-Class"purchasing standards. Review and update purchasing system with lean concept.
Ensure an uninterrupted supply of materials to Shure different production facilities
Manage the direct material supply base
Develop, foster and enhance multi-departmental relationship(s) between Shure Inc. And key suppliers
Coordinate with Strategic Purchasing, the seamless movement of all purchased components from the New Product Teams to production release
Manages/support current product component requirements for assigned commodities
Participate in inventory reduction activities for all purchased components by establishing formal agreements (kanban, consignment, contracts, etc. ) with current suppliers
Assess current supply base on an on-going basis and recommend changes/alternatives that could reduce purchased material cost or add higher value to purchased components
Participate in cross-functional analysis to prepare recommendation(s) for all make vs. Buy decisions on current products
Work with logistic function and supplier to optimize current logistics mode, and minimize the freight cost with best EOQ purchasing.
Lead Commodity Team assigned activities if requested.
