Interface　between　the　Strategic　Sourcing　Group　and　the　BRT‘s　from　a　technical　standpoint　regarding　new　mold/tool　development，prototyping，ISR　samples，supplier　equipment　and　engineering　capabilities. Provide　a　general　technical　assessment　and　feedback　to　the　BRT’s　regarding　the　supplier‘s　ability　to　meet　Shure　requirements. Facilitate　effective　communication　between　Strategic　Sourcing　Group，BRT’s，and　the　supply-base　in　China. Frequent　visits　to　suppliers　across　China，conference　calls，and　other　forms　of　communication　will　be　required. Identify　suppliers　in　China　that　can　be　used　for　ESI（Early　Supplier　Involvement）across　multiple　commodities. Conducting　Value　Analysis　for　products　and　processes. Work　collaboratively　with　Asia-based　SQE（Supplier　Quality　Engineering　to　support　supplier　audits　and　other　on-site　process　assessments. Obtaining　procurement　related　information　via　benchmarking. Perform　gap　analysis　in　the　current　supply　base，in　support　of　commodity　strategy　activities. Support　the　commodity　team　process　for　RFI‘s，RFQ’s，and　strategy　development. 。Participate　in　the　hand-off　of　purchasing　responsibilities　to　Tactical　Purchasing　in　Suzhou　and　Niles　once　BRT　has　obtained　production　approval. Aid　in　formalizing　supplier　development，management　and　relationship　strategy　Localize　Shure　Suzhou　material　based　on　direction　from　the　commodity　lead. Assist　in　inventory　reduction，KanBan　and　JIT.

4-year　college　degree　or　CPM　Certificate　and　3＋years　experience.
Working　knowledge　of　Microsoft　Word，Powerpoint　and　Excel.
Good　in　English　writing　and　speaking
Can　read　engineering　drawings
Professional　and　mature

Ability　to　travel　up　to　50%of　time.
Engineering　and　sourcing　background　Understand　supplier　capabilities　for　multiple　commodities（including　electronics）Good　knowledge　of　manufacturing　processes　and　molding　for　plastic　injection，CNC　machine，die　cast，and　PCBA　fabrication　and　assembly. Understands　Asian　Sourcing　and　Marketplace　Understands　SAP
