职位描述:

Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and deploy a distribution sales and supply chain strategy that will generate profit;
Establish & develop an effective sourcing and purchasing team to support distribution business model to meet customer requirements;
Lead various cost reduction projects relating to the supply chain scope function e. G. Freight costs, Warehouse costs, etc.
Design and deploy an effective inventory management strategy to achieve targets established benchmarking industry players e. G. Bossard, Penn Engineering, etc.
Preparation and timely submission of various business and supply chain reports as required;
Train next level personnel and manage their performance to align with supply chain strategy and ensure that activities are performed effectively and efficiently;
Build relationships with strategic suppliers for improved co-ordination, cost management and on-time-delivery;
Accountable to ensure that distribution warehouse operations are effective and safety practices are adhered to;
Design and Establish operational procedures for sales, demand management, sourcing, purchasing, warehousing and delivery to align with target customer requirements;
Plan and conduct regular supplier audits and performance

Evaluations;
Ensure ethical and compliant behaviour of business operations;
Develop the teams sourcing and customer service capabilities to position the distribution business as a competitive supplier for high mix low volume and commodity type products.
Knowledge, Experience or Behaviour Required to Perform Job Well:
Degree holder in any discipline (preferable in engineering);
Minimum of 10 years experience in an industrial type environment running distribution type business with sales and profit and loss responsibility;
Preferably with good experience in supply chain management covering purchasing, planning and warehouse management with at least 5 years in a supervisory or management experience;
Good cross cultural communication and with experience doing international sourcing;
Good planning and analysis skills and proven track record in leading various continuous improvement projects;
Familiar using ERP systems to support supply chain function.
