Responsibility
1.Co-develop the strategy or parts of it within the vision of the management team
2.Organize and execute the budgeting and long-term purchasing planning
3.Participate and contribute to the continuous improvement of the company’s performance and growth as organization, not only in terms of purchasing gains (lower cost, higher financial yields), but also in terms of fulfilling employee, stakeholders, customers and social needs in the long term
4.Improve and maintain the continuous progress of the company’s SHE performance
5.Based on the sales plan and production plan, under the permission of law & policy, organize the purchasing, importing / exporting of RM, additives and packages etc. to implement supply chain management.
6.As member of the Sales & Operations Meeting analyze with Sales, Manufacturing, Logistics and Finance the performance of the company and come up as a team on cross departmental solutions to improve the performance both short term and mid term.
7.Ensure the availability of RMs and packaging, and of other goods and services, according to quantities, prices and delivery conditions as desired by the dept. Concerned
8.Execute the analysis of purchasing data and collect the market intelligence, forecast the trend of market price of RM, propose the optimal purchasing scheme.
9.Obtain the possible price, specified quality and required quantity, it is necessary to buy from the original manufacturers whenever feasible thereby avoiding intermediate suppliers in order to control purchasing cost.
10.Keep the prospective reserves of all raw materials at a certain level based on changes of prices in raw material market and maintain the safe stock
10. Within the authorities given by GM, negotiate with suppliers and sign contracts.
11. Establish at least two or three qualified supply sources to avoid disadvantages affected by supplier problem. Build a stable and long-term purchasing-supplying channel/system in the coming years.
Qualification
-Strong commercial and negotiation skills;
-Good communication skills both in written and verbal English.
-Chemical background
-Sound business acumen, proven track record in purchasing;
-General management experience (over 3 years), professional experience (over 5-8 yrs) in commerce, working at international level.
