PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Logistic Manager will base in Changshu and directly report to GM. She/he will provide specialist procurement solutions that is sustainable and productive for all business activities for China.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Researches,develops and implements effective procurement strategies based on facts that secure reliable and cost effective supplies of goods and services from both local and overseas markets,and develops alternatives(i. E. New materials/equipment)。
2. Forward planning using sound methodologies,based on factors including but not limited to sales forecasts,growth plans and budgets.
3. Implementation and management of key suppliers and related contracts.
4. Controls,and is responsible for organizing,coordinating and directing the supply of all goods,materials or services required by the entire organization.
5. Undertakes major contract negotiations within the approved pricing policy and establishes procurement programs to match the company‘s requirements.
6. Establishes procurement objectives(i. E. Cost out projects)for the entire organization and sees that these objectives are made known and followed by all connected with the procurement functions.
7. Ensures that goods,materials and services are procured and delivered in accordance with specified requirements as to quality,quantity,by the specified date(delivery in full and on-time)and at the best price(refer to TEMP purchasing strategies)。
8. Reviews purchasing activities to identify cost savings to improve EBIT and cash flow.
9. Contributes to the development of supply policies and procedures and executes the implementation of such into the business.
10. Approves orders where required.
11. Measurement and benchmarking of the procurement and processing performance.
12. Works closely with global planning and sourcing organizations to manage cost and cash/inventory.
13. Working with the Director-Strategic Sourcing and other senior purchasing staff and leadership groups within Tyco who may from time to time set purchasing directives.
14. Develops strong commercial relationships with all current and future suppliers to ensure a viable and enduring partnership.
15. Other duties as requested/directed from time to time.
16. Commitment to and implementation of EHS(Environment Health&Safety)policies and procedures and ensuring staff are following company EHS requirements.
17. Commitment to and implementation of EEO(Equal Employment Opportunity)and Antidiscrimination legislation and standards and ensuring staff are aware of their obligations.

REQUIREMENTS:
Degree qualified in a relevant business or a mechanical/electrical engineering discipline gained preferably overseas(English speaking based)。
Degree qualified in business or a mechanical/electrical engineering discipline.
Minimum 5 years experience in strategic procurement/sourcing in a metals manufacturing or similar environment(multinational experience preferred)。
Experience in a SAP environment or similar ERP.
Strong business/commercial acumen.
High level negotiation and organizational skills.
Demonstrated experience to manage complex projects.
Sound oral and written communication skills(English and Chinese dialect)。
Strong computer literacy(i. E. Microsoft Word,Excel,PowerPoint,etc)
