1、 Job Title: Purchasing Manager
Position Overview:
1. Manage various assigned product lines by determining direction and goals for each line. Suggest new products and product lines that fit within assigned product categories, and ensure that products meet company goals for cost, quality, and sell ability. Oversee products from conception to implementation, which may include: Hardware/software design, production drawings, vendor negotiation, agency compliance, operation manuals, beta testing and production aids. Maximize revenue and gross profit for assigned product lines.
2. Manage the Purchasing and Vendor Management functions of company. This includes Purchasing Planning, execution and delivery of product on time and at desirable cost. Position Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of assigned product lines including vendor selection, product selection, product phase-in, product end-of-life, etc. Proactively source and develop projects within assigned product lines Review and recommend appropriate new products in order to best deliver on company revenue and profit goals Plan EOL (End-of-Life) for select products and product lines Write new product specifications and development timetable Work with product marketing team at IC Corporate to create packaging, user manuals, and support and presentation materials based on product line goals Train sales and purchasing staff at ICT as needed Create and execute product presentations to IC Intracom offices and key customers Work independently on multiple concurrent tasks Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, partners, and clients Create and release Purchase Orders and be main point of contact with vendor for all ongoing orders. Reduce ICT purchase costs overall per target of 2% per month and on-time delivery.
