Job scopes:
Responsible for project planning, negotiating and purchasing assigned commodities. Manage supplier relationships to ensure responsive support and performance for cost, On-Time and quality of products.
Position requires HIGH degree of estimations in all areas of effective sourcing and procurement: Castings, Fabrications, Machine Parts, Plastics, Electronic, and Control Panels, Testing, and Internal interaction with Engineering, Application Engineers, Quality, Suppliers, Customers, Contractors, Engineering Firms, and Inspection Agencies.
Manage supplier relationships to ensure responsive support. Strong & effective relationships with suppliers and key individuals responsible to support Nanjing project requirements...
Position interacts in all areas of the company including finance, Sales, Warehouse, CTC, Engineering, Quality, sourcing, etc.
High degree of NEW products introduced on a regular basis site and into China Markets. Lead & promote opportunities to improve Treatment performance and Customer value.
Project Management Skills- that included full accountability, effective escalation skills, and no barriers working within ALL levels of company organization- Customer Service FIRST attitude.
Award and document purchase order. Responsible for following up purchase order and ensure good quality performance. Actively engaged with supplier production & schedules to ensure integrity.
Implement appropriate actions with suppliers to support business needs. Maintenance of specific data as it applies to Treatment objectives, supplier performance & cost savings.
Requirements:
4 year Engineering or Business degree
5 or more year Sourcing, Purchasing experience with one or more of the following: Order processing, order management, contracts/project administration in a manufacturing environment Operations Engineering, related experiences
Technical product knowledge
Project Management skills, rapid decision making skills, within and out of team environment. Total commitment to rapid, efficient and complete project start up (new business).
Must be a team player, demonstrate leadership abilities, able to multitask, work under high pressure situations, good negotiation skills, good expediting skills, strong communications skills
Highest standards for performance and ethics.
Knowledge of quality and its fundamental business applications.
Good command of both oral and written English is preferred.
Decision maker and Problem solving skills /Tech / Ops
Pro-Active / Results orientation and HIGH attention to CUSTOMER Service and cost
HIGH ATTENTION & Concern for all phases of quality (Hardware / Software and communications).
