Job Description:
To manage the purchasing/planning department and achieve the objectives set by the company.
Formulation and implementation of purchasing and planning strategy.
Ensure that inventory targets are met through the tools provided.
Ensure purchase Requisition and Purchase Orders are executed according to delivery schedule.
Ensure that direct/indirect materials are received on time.
Monitor production progress to make sure that demand is met.
Manage excess and obsolete materials.
Development of direct reports through OJT, coaching, and other activities in order to continuously motivate and improve individual and group performances
Job Requirements:
Fluent Japanese speaking/ writing and hearing (Level - 1); English (CET-4)
Minimum Bachelor's degree/diploma in other disciplines, but at least five years working experience in related fields.
Sound knowledge and skills in purchasing and planning
Good interpersonal, communication, negotiation and persuasion skill
Able to work under conditions of heavy pressure and resource constraint
Effective People management.
Minimum Bachelor's degree/diploma in other disciplines, but at least five years working experience in related fields
