GENERAL MISSION
The Logistic Coordinator is dedicated to several product units and primarily focuses on managing the daily operation of Logistic, including shipping monitoring, shipping document management, airfreight management, system update. He helps merchandisers on logistic issues, communicates with forwarders, carriers, logistics dpt of the customer and villeneuve.
He is in charge of:
- Coordinate and communicate with others departments, merchandisers and forwarders, carriers
- Shipping document management
- Monthly performance analysis and reporting
- Logistics Training to all the team
- Airfreight Management
- System Monitoring
- Manage and control the Logistics Assistant
FUNCTIONS:
He control the operational process and communicates with others departments, merchandisers, forwarders, carriers, logistics dpt of the customer, and villeneuve
External
- Communicate with forwarders about logistic information and problems
- Push and manage the performance of forwarder and carriers
- Ensure system is always updated by forwarder
Internal
- Logistics support to commercial project
- Weekly Shipping Alert and Follow up with forwarder
- Monthly Scorecard to be developed and validated by the CODIR for Operations (Supplier, Forwarder and Internal indicators) to Logistics and operations Manager, to commercial team
- Update logistic handbook and ensure the good communication and understanding of all the team
- Airfreight Controller and Coordinate with Airfreight forwarder
- Monthly quotation update on Air and Sea-Air forwarders
- 20' container control, CFS short load management
- Check and Approve Invoice (3PL, carriers)
- Customer Service Follow-up (Auchan Country) based on LRD and MDD
- Shipping Document Management with Forwarder
- Weekly Warehouse Follow-up Reports
- Update L/C Template and TT Payment instruction
- Training to all the team on logistic matters
- Share logistic information with all the team and help them to resolve logistic issues
- Listen to the commercial team suggestions or remarks about forwarders
All the activities should be on the basis of Auchan Ethic Rules
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION
Knowledge:
Knowledge of international trade and logistic issues
Knowledge of computer tools
Fluent English both in spoken & written
