IT General Manager
Our Client:
Our client is a European multinational logistics company doing shipping,air freight,and 3PL service with offices all over Asia.We are looking for an Asia IT Manager to take the lead on the below IT/System areas.
The Job:
Lead a large team of professionals to meet the needs of the business for the competency Centre that are outlined
Actively engage with the senior leadership of the Regions/Country to work on improving efficiencies for all business functions Manage the EDI system capabilities,inclusive of financial responsibilities for invoicing and budget
Pro-Actively engage with external parties to demonstrate the capabilities has to offer in order to improve or strengthen our existing relationships.
Identify,in conjunction with senior management,promising areas of research or technology that address unmet needs and have large potential markets.
Direct research and development activities for e-products,services,or ideologies through the competency center
Create and visualize new innovative methods/techniques across job functions to define the direction for new e-Solutions,processes,standards in conjunction with new business strategies to improve the companies overall results.
Direct the analysis of complex challenges to significantly improve or change existing methods and techniques through the use of our e-Solutions
Generate new business through the use of e-Solutions and awareness
Direct&Lead the business development managers in the promotion Of eBusiness for all cross functional units
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include interviewing,hiring,and training employees;planning,assigning,and directing work;appraising performance;rewarding and disciplining employees;addressing complaints and resolving problems
Career Development of employees
Provide visibility of ePerformance for all cross functions and the reference from the competitors for each Region
Manage tracking of industry trends,relevant legislation,and competitor activities.
Drive business development plans and ensures projects are delivered on-time and within budget
Keeping a cross functional awareness of business development Ensure high level of communication with key Stakeholders and in particular relationships with:Group VPs;Business Unit Directors and Heads;Business Process Owners;Vendor Directors and Executives;
Develop and implement methods and procedures for monitoring projects,research findings,progress reports,and staff conferences
Leadership role in many professional IT organizations globally
The Qualifications:
Knowledge on the Global business processes and applications(GCSS,FACT,RKEM,etc.)cross functionally
Able to effectively communicate with all layers of the organisation,and external parties
Ability to lead a large team of professionals
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently
Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
Create and maintain good teamwork and team spirit environment Building relationship networks with other group areas,Centre functions and external parties
Travel(both domestic and international)is required Bachelor's or Advanced degree
At least 10 years of related industry experience
Fluent in Mandarin,and very good English skills.
