Responsibility
Work with Design Department＆Supplier on the component（infra red filter，die-cut，shields，mechanical）specification and review the spec with supplier to confirm its capability
On site perform Production Part Approval Process（PPAP），buy off at Engineering Validation＆Design Validation Stage to meet our component spec；conduct Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis（DFMEA），Process Flow，FAI，Control Plan，Design control，machine/tester buy off and Guage Repeatability and Reproducibility control.
Station at supplier site to perform process and line buy off at Design Validation and Process Validation Stage；and work with supplier to buy off the production line to make sure process，machine，design，tester and system are in place and quality meet our expectation.
Access supplier design，process，engineering capability to confirm supplier has the capability to be our Approved Vendor List and compile the supplier capability matrix
To implement Lean practice and work with supplier on Lean Initiatives at supplier‘s site in order to have better quality and assist in cost reduction initiatives
Monitor supplier’s Product Life Cycle to make sure it has been followed and exit the key PLC gates accordingly.
To assist in Cost Breakdown tasks by understanding supplier‘s production in detail so as to be able to break down component cost.
Requirements
Have strong related components（infra red filter，die-cut，shields，mechanical）experience with more than 5 years.
Preferably have design background and buyoff components background
Able to travel and station at supplier site for a period of time
Proficient in English and Mandarin
Able to station at Zhuhai，PRC
Good degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or materials science
Have knowledge of 6 sigma and Lean
Understand supplier process flow and be able to provide engineering advice to assist supplier to improve the yield/process
Familiar with PPAP buy off process
Familiar with PLC
