Responsibilities & Tasks
- Multiplication of our local supply content according to strategic targets
- Extension of our local supply base by searching and evaluating sustainable and competitive suppliers
Establishing the right sourcing strategy to meet with the challenges of material delivery, project schedule, and budget, etc.
- Developing cost baseline and modelling for the commdoities under his responsibilities
- Driving business wide cost-awareness
- & cross-functional cost reduction initiatives, bunding purchasing demand for cross-project and cross-division for cost reduction
- Participating negotiation for complex contracts with superior results, including price, delivery quality, lead-times and terms
Organizing strategic agreement with suppliers: Frame contracts, capacity agreements, quality assurance agreement Single point of contact for R&D as far as material realization e. G. Sourcing strategy identification, vendor selection; Quotation, ordering, samples is concerned.
- Handing over the result of negotiations to operational buyer to place the orders
Qualifications & Requirements
1.3+ years Strategic Sourcing experience, preferably in paper industry or heavy machinary industries with proven records.
2. Excellent skills in purchasing techniques such as strategic sourcing, supplier selection, developing contracts supplier management, and supply chain logistics.
3. Good presentation skills, and negotiation skills
4. Proven record of driving results.
5. Possess proactive rather than a reactive style of conducting business.
6. Proficiency in comanding English; German is an additional advantage.
