Job Title:National Distribution Center ManagerDepartment:National Distribution CenterReports To:General Manager
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:Manages warehousing activities for the receipt,storage and delivery of finished goods;maintains a systematic,accurate and up-to-date documenting,record-keeping and reporting for the movement of all finished goods and materials;plans for economical and effective use of all means of transportation for stock transfers and delivery requirements to customers,forwarders and other departments.
POSITION DUTIES&RESPONSIBILITIES:WarehousingSupervises,co-ordinates and participates in receiving,storing,packing and/or order fulfillment operations.Ensures goods are received in good condition and quantities;ensures adjustments associated with incorrect,incomplete or damaged shipments are made in a timely manner.Ensures goods are received in good condition and quantities;ensures adjustment associatedEstablishes and implements accepted finishes goods and materials preservation measures,security and safety and good housekeeping rules.Ensures goods are received in good condition and quantities;ensure adjustments associated Ensure that all equipment is operated and maintained according to health and safety standards.Ensure the preparation of documents,processing and maintenance of inventory records.Identifies and disposes obsolete and surplus products and materials according to inventory policies and procedures.Delivery to Customers Plans and overseas the most effective and efficient loading and delivery operations based on the requirements of customers,distributors and forwarders.Plans the efficient use of available manpower and delivery trucks.Sets up and reviews procedures to update or improve loading and delivery operations.People Management&Development Motivates,train and develops staff.Conducts bi-annual performance reviews-June and December.Ensure subordinates have performance plans each year.Ensure subordinates have development plans and plans are executed.Ensure subordinates identify one appropriate training program form Learning Navigator to close competency gap.
Performs other special projects and functions as assigned.Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to one's job,and maintain the highest levels of professionalism,ethics and compliance at all times.Diligently participate in our compliance program-related activities as denoted by your supervisor or our ChiefCompliance Officer.Promote and nurture the highest standards of professionalism,ethics and compliance,and actively support our compliance program-related initiatives and activities.Consistently enforce employee compliance,including attendance at training programs,and promptly report anynon-compliance to the Chief Compliance Officer.EDUCATION&EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree and above in Supply Chain Management(preferred)or related discipline;At least 7 years nationwide logistics experience within Pharma,Medical device or FMCG field,or professionallogistics companyHigh sense of integrity,strong communication skill;SAP or the other ERP experience is requiredStrong interpersonal and leadership skills;andGood command of written/spoken Mandarin and English required
