Major Responsibilities:Work with cross-functional APA program teams(MP&L,Finance and Purchasing),Logistic Service Providers and GLSSB to support timely definition of cost-effective logistic networks
/network elements for inbound
/outbound production material,inbound
/outbound BU vehicles of new programs in the region;Support MP&L Program Planning Managers to ensure that all stakeholders of various programs of AP&A understand the logistics costs involved in the supply network.Develop and maintain MP&L Program Cost models for the same;Work with Logistics Service Providers,plant teams(Purchase,MP&L and Finance),GLSSB and other supply chain members to review all logistic networks
/elements of the networks employed through out the region to identify cost improvements for inbound and outbound production material,inbound and outbound BU vehicles of existing programs;Support TVM initiatives and Strategic studies.Qualification Requirements:B.E
/B.Tech.with MBA;5 years&above in logistics
/Finance/Supply chain;Prior experience in logistics
/supply chain
/finance-costing.Should have exposure and knowledge of current ford logistics business and network designs.Problem solving capability and ability to generate cost reduction ideas in logistics function;Strong written and verbal English capabilities.Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with Program teams and Logistic Service providers.Insight into the Ford Global suite of MP&L systems(WERS,WIPS,CMMS3,etc)Good analytical capabilities using financial tools for cost analysis.Proficient in PC-based software(Microsoft Excel,Word,PowerPoint,Project,etc.).Experience in achieving proper program balance between cost,quality,and efficiency relative to logistic networks.Ability to effectively integrate logistics requirements into core business processes.Acumen in global logistic network design requirements and regulations of each FAP&A country.Prior experience in international network management.
